Serving in Thailand, Asia Pacific

I grew up as an MK in the Philippines and am a Children’s Ministry grad from CFNI and SAGU (2002). While attending an MK retreat my first semester in college, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly to my heart: “I’m calling you to Thailand.  From there you will minister to the children of the world.”

Eleven years later (2007), the word God gave me as a college freshman began to be fulfilled when I was invited to serve as the Children’s and Family Pastor at International Christian Assembly (ICA) - BangkokThe past 11 years have been a time of numerical and spiritual growth for us at ICA. We have moved to a larger location and the church now ministers to families from over 45 nations – from diplomats to refugees. Many of our families are from ’closed’ countries or nations ravaged by war. Several from Muslim countries have come to Christ through the love of witness of our congregation!

With this growth, the Children’s Ministry has tripled in size to 100 children. I’ve had the privilege to train over 100 volunteers from all parts of the globe. For most, this is their first exposure to children’s ministry. Not only have these volunteers been a great blessing to our ICA KiDS ministry, but once they return to their home countries, they are also equipped to reach children in their own nations!

I began my service at ICA - Bangkok as a Missionary Associate (MA). During that timeI also completed formal Thai language studies and I was Ordained at District Council in 2009. In June 2013, I was commissioned as a PenFlorida Appointed Missionary.
