I'm an Environmental Engineer currently raising support to join CompassionLink.

When I was 17 years old I stepped off the plane in Guatemala; it was my first mission trip. Poverty had hit the country hard, robbing them of necessities such as proper shelter, food, and clothing. They didn’t even have clean water. That trip changed my life. God used it to ignite a burning desire in my heart to learn everything I could so that I could help people like the ones I was so blessed to meet in Guatemala.

So I earned a degree in Environmental Engineering from Mercer University. While I was there, God also taught me what I would be doing with the knowledge I was accumulating: partnering with people around the world to help them reach thirsty people with the gospel by providing for their physical needs.

For the last seven years I’ve been working as an environmental engineer. I’ve also served on several short-term trips through my church and other agencies. The time has come for me to do more.

Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) supports Sustain Hope, which teaches people how to grow food in places where people normally can't. They show them alternative ways to cook their food. They also teach them how to clean dirty water to make it suitable for drinking.
