Chi Alpha Korea
With over a decade of Chi Alpha experience at Murray State University, Katie responded to God's leading and made the move to launch Chi Alpha in Korea. In May 2014, the first Chi Alpha Korea group was formed at SungKyunKwan University (SKKU), the first university in East Asia. By early 2015, God had already opened the door for us to launch another group at one of the top 3 universities in Korea, Yonsei. Later that year, He directed us to begin on the other SKKU campus. At the time of Chi Alpha Korea's recent second birthday, over 200 students had come to various outreaches, and our community has grown to over 30 students meeting weekly for Bible studies and discipleship, 50% of whom are atheists and agnostics. God is drawing this generation to Himself.
Josh McDowell recently stated, "Korean university students are the hope of the world--more than in any other country. You have a platform, and the world needs you to use it." Chi Alpha Korea exists to reach, disciple, and mobilize students to fulfill God's call on their lives. We are reaching a generation to reach the nations.
Imagine the difference YOU can make!
