In October 2022 I had the privilege of interviewing with the World Missions Board in Springfield, MO to become a fully appointed M to Northern Ireland. I was approved, and at the beginning of March I began the fundraising process. As of today (3/29/23) I have raised 53% of my budget and am hoping to have my entire budget raised by August 2023. My budget must be raised by August so that I can keep working towards permanent residency in N Ireland. In order to meet the requirements of permanent residency I cannot leave N Ireland for more than 180 days per calendar year for the next 5 years. Please pray with me that I will meet my goal!
Pray for friendships for each of us individually, and for us as a family. We were created to live in community, but in missions community can be hard to build as you move. Relationships take time.
Pray for the kids to finish catching up in school. They are almost at grade level now. Pray for the right schooling situation for them in our transition.
Pray for complete healing from migraines for Kirk, and for protection for the whole family from further attack.
Pray for our schedule to fill with the needed meetings and services.
Pray for the new partners we need to reach budget. While we want to raise our budget, we also desire partnership and relationship.
Pray for strategic partnerships with other ministries like Chi Alpha to form while we are itinerating.
Pray for key relationships to be made when we hit the ground. People who will open doors for ministry into the community that God puts on our hearts.
Easter is coming! We are praying for God to pour out His spirit in churches all over the world. We pray that your church experiences a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit and that this Resurrection Sunday is unique and set apart. "And it shall come to pass afterward, That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh..." Joel 2:28 Join us in praying for a great revival to sweep all nations!!!
The m*sl*m season of prayer and fasting called Ramadan has begun. This is 40 days of prayer and fasting where the purpose is to seek Allah. Pray with us that as they seek God, they find truth. Pray for our family as we are fasting from now until Easter. There are many times that our fasting opens the doors for conversations. Pray for us to have many opportunities to share the truth and gospel with those who are truly seeking. And pray for the people all around us who are seeking God, that they will encounter Him in a real and transformational way.
The church structure and roof in the village of Kartong is up thanks for our team from Liberty AG. Now we are working on bricks for the walls. It is going to take a lot of workers and finances to finish this project. Please pray for both with us. Matthew and Abigail have started the 4th quarter of school. This is Matthew's Senior year and Abigail's freshman. Pray for them both to finish strong, especially Matthew.
