Austin and Amy met and started dating in January of 2007 while attending university in Texas.  A little over a year later they both went on a short term trip to the Netherlands and on that trip, God spoke to them clearly. It was through 1 Kings 19, when Elijah calls Elisha, that God asked Austin and Amy to follow Him in the Netherlands.

After that trip, Austin and Amy got engaged and were married a year later in July of 2009.  In 2012, they served in the city of Maastricht, Netherlands helping plant a Students for Christ (SFC) group at the university there. They saw God transform student's lives as He restored them back to Him.  Towards the end of that one year term in the Netherlands, the Lord confirmed that they were not done and that He was calling them to serve there on long term basis.

With a burden and heart to reach university students and locals in the community, Austin and Amy are planting an SFC group in the city of Utrecht and to see students in the Netherlands become lifelong disciples of Jesus who will then go out and make disciples of their own. They also serve at Nieuwstraat Gemeente in De Bilt strenghtening local belivers and reaching others in the community with the same Gospel that transformed both of their lives.
