Joel and Karen serve in Indonesia, the fourth largest country in the world with nearly 100 Never Reached People Groups. Their heart is to see the Great Commission fulfilled in Indonesia with every people group having access to the good news.

The Hoobyars are now stationed at SATI, the largest Assemblies of God seminary in Indonesia. They believe that by training up the next generation of Christian leaders, the great task of establishing churches among the Never Reached can finally become a reality within their lifetime!
