Breanna Johnson is as a career missionary associate with the Assemblies of God in Senegal, West Africa. She is currently preparing for her third term on the field, where her heart is to see the local church empowered to reflect the compassion of Jesus in their communities.

In a nation that is 95% Muslim, the church has a unique opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ through compassionate action. She will partner with Africa Oasis and local pastors to help establish sustainable compassion ministries—such as clean water projects, human trafficking awareness and prevention, and outreach to children at risk, to open doors for church planting and life transformation.

Her role will be to train, equip, and walk alongside church leaders as they respond to the needs around them with both truth and love. She believes that local lasts longer, and that the local church is God’s tool to bring lasting transformation to Senegal—one act of compassion at a time.
