Greetings! Thank you for visiting my page! I am thrilled to start this journey of missions to Indonesia. At the end of the day, my heart is to make the name of Jesus known across the earth because a life lived with Jesus changes everything. Hope is found, springs of living water abound, and salvation is known. 

About Me: I was born and raised in San Diego, California in a family of five. I attended college at Vanguard University in Orange County where I obtained an undergraduate degree in mathematics and a graduate degree in theology. Orange County has been home for the last 10 years. I now work on staff at Vanguard and in my spare time, I love learning, being outside in nature, and swimming!

God's Calling: In January 2024, God reminded me of His heart for the orphans, recalling the seed He had planted in my heart years prior during one of my college classes to take care of the orphan. Then, in May 2024, I had the privilege of taking a group of Vanguard students on a summer missions trip to Asia. It was during this trip, God invited me into a new place of surrender. In the months following, it became more and more clear that a surrendered life to Him meant joining God in His work in the world.

Ministry: I will be serving on a team that focuses on discipleship and compassion ministry. This team has been committed to training cross-cultural workers to serve in people groups that have never been reached with the Good News. Additionally, the team has founded a learning center to supplement the educational needs of children in the red light district as well as a safehouse and empowerment program for survivors of sex trafficking.

Why: Jesus states, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8: 12. Jesus was sent into this world because of God's love for us. As disciples of Jesus, we embody His ministry. We go day by day, empowered by the Spirit, into all the world to declare that the light of the world has come! Like Jesus, in our going, we also share in the Father's heart to care for the one in need. My heart is burdened for the ones in need, the orphan who does not have an earthly father and the orphan who does not know the Heavenly Father. God is faithful to care for those in need. "When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the Lord will answer, I the God of Israel will not forsake them." Isaiah 41:17 He is faithful to fulfill His promise, but who will proclaim it? I feel called by God to share His love and light in places of brokeness and darkness, to love the poor and needy, and point them to Jesus who is the light of the world and the living water. As the Father sent Jesus into the world, so too is Jesus sending His church into the world. This is why I must go.
