Both born and raised in the Dakotas, our paths crossed at Trinity Bible College in Ellendale, North Dakota. After dating for a short time, we knew we wanted to spend our lives serving God together. We were married in 2011. For ten years after that, we served as youth pastors in Rapid City, South Dakota and it was during that time that God called us to the missions field. We very much believe that God has not just called us, but our three children as well: Azariah, Elianna and Isabella. 

Missions has always been in our hearts and we have always given God our yes. We went on and led many short-term missions trips all around the world and always felt that someday God would call us to the mission field. In August of 2021, we heard our area director Bryan Webb preach at National Fine Arts and God confirmed through a series of prophetic words that He was calling us to reach the never reached in Pacific Oceania. What we could have never imagined, was that God was also calling two other couples at exactly the same time, one of whom was the worship pastors at our church! It is so clear that God has huge plans for Francophone Pacific!

Francophone Pacific consists of three French-speaking island countries. These three nations are comprised of 171 islands strung throughout the Pacific Ocean. Our team is based in French Polynesia.

After prayerfully spending our first term on the field, we identified the highest priority - the construction and development of a ministry training school. While there are many needs, the need for pastors is the most urgent. We dream of the day we see French Polynesians raised up as Spirit-empowered pastors and missionaries being sent out to establish the church everywhere it’s not and to reach the never reached .
