Mike and Lawrencia have been serving together in Jogjakarta, Indonesia (the largest Muslim country in the world) since 2017, as part of a team focusing on reaching Muslim university students.
In 2025, they will be transitioning to an international church in the Medan. Their prayer is to take and apply the many principles of discipleship they've learned while serving in campus ministry into the greater church context.
Medan, the largest city on the island of Sumatra, is a strategic place to raise of disciples to reach the island and the nation.
Mike and Lawrencia met in university while serving as student leaders in Chi Alpha campus ministry at the University of Virginia. It was there that God transformed their lives and called them into campus ministry overseas. In 2016, they got married, and they are now serving with their three wonderful kids: Rudd (2019), Silas (2021), and Barrett (2024).
